Week Five

So just by looking at the graph you could assume I had a backward step. However, since last weekend was such a tough weekend on my bod I can't really be disappointed at how this week went. Up to last weekend I had been losing around a pound and a half to two pounds a week. Based on that average I should be exactly where I am after 5 weeks. I did lose inches off my measurements last week so I know I'm making progress. This week wasn't as good a week for drinking water either as I didn't keep the bottle full all the time. Now next week should see me back on track with the downward slope. Just gotta do it.

Week Four

Well this week ended up showing a big loss. However, the last part of the week was definitely not a healthy couple of days. Saturday I only had a 5 point Jamba Juice and then nothing but a few drinks that night. I did eat, but I'm not going to count anything I didn't keep. Sunday was spent tucked in bed until around 5PM when I got up to get ready to go to dinner with the rents. All that really counted on that meal was the filet. A 10oz perfectly cooked filet. (drool) Even with that though I was still way under points for the day.

Honestly on Saturday I thought I was really gonna blow the budget and so I weighed myself that afternoon before I left. 173 lbs. Which if I'd weighed that the next morning I would have been stoked. However, since I didn't keep down dinner and most of the drinking that coincided with it there really wasn't much for the bod to do anything with it seemed. Also to note the dehydration that goes with the drinking. So I got home Sunday around noon and prior to crawling into bed for the next five hours I weighed myself one more time. 170 lbs. At first I thought something was wrong with the scale and so I measured myself a couple of times and got the same result. I weighed myself again this morning, Monday, and the result was 171 lbs. so maybe Sunday's measurements were accurate. However it's working I'm going to stick with the 170 number measured on Sunday at noon and just anticipate not making a whole lot of progress this week as my body works on recovering from the weekend. Needless to say I'll definitely be working on a much healthier week this week. Oy, no more white russians.

Week Three

Results are posted. Another 1.5 pounds. I have mixed feelings. It's dissapointing that the pounds just don't fly off, but at the same time I'm glad I had another week where I lost. Forward progress is good. I had a couple days this week where my diet definitely wasn't optimal so this is actually great progress considering.

First Update

So here is the table I'll use for the next six months or whenever I get to my ultimate goal. My first goal is 10% loss which means I'm looking to get to 164 lbs initially. Ultimately I'd like to get down to 150 lbs, but I don't know if that's a realistic goal with no real change in anything other than my eating habits. We'll see how well I do with getting to 164 lbs and reevaluate then. So here's the first two weeks of progress.
